In a recent conversation, I was asked what life coaching really means to me. The truth is, it’s not about buzzwords or quick fixes. It’s about walking alongside someone as they reconnect with who they truly are — beneath the labels, roles, expectations, and noise.
Since 2016, I’ve had the privilege of working with people in all kinds of transitions — career shifts, identity changes, personal loss, rediscovered dreams. The common thread? They’re at a crossroads, and they’re trying to figure out what’s next.
I use tools like the Birkman Method® to help bring clarity — not as a diagnostic, but as a way to understand how we operate at our core. More than that, though, it’s about honest conversations. Real talk. Creating a space where people feel safe enough to say, “This isn’t working,” or “I’m ready for more.”
And then? We get curious together.
I’ve worked with military veterans, mid-career professionals, newly widowed spouses, and thirty-somethings realising they’ve been living someone else’s dream. No one needs fixing — just space, support, and some practical tools to help shift from auto-pilot to intention.
One of the tools I lean on often is something I call the Six-Second Autopilot™ — a simple pause between action and reaction that gives space to choose differently. It’s not magic. It’s just powerful.
If this year feels like a turning point — even if you’re not quite sure what the next step looks like — just know you don’t have to figure it all out alone.
You’re allowed to want more. You’re allowed to grow. And you’re allowed to begin again, as many times as you need. Let’s see what’s possible.
